Pink Balloon Flower Card

Birthday Balloon Flower Card

I am totally in love with the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set (140675) and how many different things that can come out of it. I wanted to try and use the stamps in a different way and love how the balloons can be substituted as petals! :)

You will also need;
Thick Whisper White Cardstock: C6 Cardbase
Smooth Whisper White:  3 3/4 X 5 3/4" plus a small strip for the sentiment.
Sweet Sugar Plum card: 4 X 5 1/2"
Flirty Flamingo card: for your balloon petals!
Ink: Powder Pink, Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry, Old Olive
Balloon Bouquet Punch
Timeless Textures Stamp Set

I stamped my balloons and punched them out using the Balloon Bouquet Punch, the centre of the flower was fussy cut out. Using Powder Pink Ink, I created a quick and simple background using the dots from Timeless Textures stamp set. A stem for our flower is stamped directly on to the background in Old Olive Ink. (You could also punch out a couple of green balloons to place on the stem as leaves). I popped each 'petal' up with a dimensional and arranged them to slightly over lap. After stamping the sentiment and creating the banner, all the panels were glued and layered onto the card base.
This card is perfect for a little girl's birthday... or for a child to make the card themselves:)

I hope you enjoyed this super quick and easy flower card using the Balloon Celebration stamp set.

Happy Stamping,

        AMIE
