Party Favour box!

Project 6 and the last one using Message In A Bottle Stamp Set - (143707). I have really enjoyed creating with this set and I am sure I will bring a few more ideas using this in the future, but for now I have other fab things to share with you. Today we have a fab little tea light holder CASED from littleinkyfingers.co.uk. This cute treat holder was a swap I received at a team weekend retreat and I just love it. Perfect as a party or dinner favour, or just as a small gift and super easy to put together and change up. Check out the smaller one I created in the photo's below using the jar in the stamp set as the main panel - super cute!

Here is what you will need:

Tranquil Tide cardstock:
2" x 8" - score at 3" each side
3 1/4" x 5 3/4" - score 3/4 on all for sides and at 1 3/4" from score line
Wood Textures DSP:
1 3/4" x 2 3/4" - x2
Smooth Whisper White circle
Tranquil Tide scalloped edge circle

Watercolour Whale Card!

Cute note card alert for project 5 using Message In A Bottle Stamp Set - (143707). I am still practising with my new Aqua Painters but love the simple wash background for this card. You could use different colours or styles here to really make this card pop. For me the enamel dots and added dimension help to make this card have that something 'more', and yet they are such a simple, basic addition. Goes to show just playing around with embellishments and adding something small could make all the difference in stepping up your cards :D

5" x 7" scored and folded at 3 1/2"

Soft Sky cardstock:
3" x 4 3/4"
Watercolour Cardstock:

4 3/4" x 2 1/4" strip

Smooth Whisper White:

4 3/4" x 2" strip embossed

Colourful and Fun Ocean Themed Card!

We are on to the 3rd project using the Message In A Bottle Stamp Set - (143707) with a super fun, colourful card. 
This card is perfect for when you have one of those moments where you just want to keep stamping. You could also try it on a bigger piece of cardstock, cut to size and have a few ready for quick cards or backgrounds when you want them. I love how simple this card is, but at the same time colourful and fun :)

Here is what you will need:

Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock: C6 card base (A4 cut in half and scored in half)

Smooth Whisper White x2: 3 7/8" x 5 6/8"

Smooth Whisper White: 9/16" x 3 1/4"

Dapper Denim Cardstock: 6/8" x 3 1/2"

Inks: Memento Black, Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist, Tangerine Tango and Chocolate Chip. 

Stampin' Write Markers: Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive and Powder Pink

Note Card and Gift Tag!

Project number 2 using the Message In A Bottle Stamp Set - (143707). 
Something a little different and not really ocean, sea or nautical related...shows just how versatile this stamp set is!
A cute note card & gift tag set... perfect for giving with flowers, or any gift for that matter. Using the 'message notes' image that fits in the bottle to create a background, this set is super simple, quick and easy to make! :D

For the Card:

Thick Whisper White: 3" x 6" and scored at 3"
Fresh Fig Cardstock:
2 2/8" x 2 2/8" (6cm x 6cm)
Smooth Whisper White Cardstock:
2 1/8" x 2 1/8" (5.5cm x 5.5cm)

For the Tag:
Thick Whisper White: 4" x 2" (10cm x 5cm)
Fresh Fig Cardstock: 
1 1/2" x 3" (3.8cm x 7.7cm)
Smooth Whisper White Cardstock: 
1 3/8" x 2 7/8" (7.4cm x 3.4cm)

Ink: Fresh Fig

You can spice this up with coordinating ribbon, rhinestones or popping up the center panel on dimensionals.

Message In A Bottle #1

Ocean Message!

Over the next couple of weeks I will be showing you a few card and project ideas using the Message In A Bottle Stamp Set - (143707). 
For this video we will be going slightly nautical with an ocean scene using the Seaside Embossing Folder to create the background and not to forget that fun, fun, fun bottle image. Just Love it! The best part is all the images in the stamp set fit in the bottle!! 
This card did not 100% come out how i had pictured it in my head when first making it, but actually I rather like it. Its rather simple - if, unlike me you get your measurements right that is lol and can be easily altered to make it your own. 
On to making this card... 

You will need:

Thick Whisper White Card base - C6 size
Soft Sky Cardstock:
3 15/16" x 5 11/16" (10cm x 14.5cm)
2 15/16" x 2" (10cm x 5cm)
Tempting Turquoise Cardstock:
2 1/4" x 3 3/4" (9cm x 5.6cm)
Smooth Whisper White Cardstock:
2 1/4" x 3 3/4" (9cm x 5.6cm)
