Project #5 of the Party Animal Suite Showcase!

 

The last project in this Showcase, one for all the scrapbookers.

Stampin’ Up! has a wide range of designer series papers, in a range of patterns and styles which are fab for your scrapbook back grounds!

I can see a number of fun layouts created with this suite, using both the designer series papers and the Balloon Adventures Bundle for a basic design like the example shown (the scrapbook in the photo is a 7x7). Or adding fun interactive pockets with ribbon added to tags or on the balloon, lots of fun options to work with your personal scrapbooking style :)

Party Animal Suite ~ Shaker Card

Project #4 of the Party Animal Suite Showcase!

 

Another idea using this suite - How fun are shaker cards!

I wanted something a little more elegant with this project so went with neutral colours and like how it pops.

The Balloon Adventures Photopolymer Bundle (144708) is so versatile in the type of cards it can help you create and it makes a brilliant frame for shaker card.

Party Animal Suite ~ 3D Project (Milk Carton)

Project #3 of the Party Animal Suite Showcase!

 

I thought it would be fun to showcase a 3D project, something that would be suited as a small gift or addition to a gift. This milk carton gift box was simple to make and can be filled with chocolates, sweets, bath or nail goodies. Stampin’ Up! has a die in the form of the Baker's Box Thinlits Dies (138279) that can make creating this box even easier!

Crumb Cake cardstock was used for the base of the box, which has to be my favourite colour cardstock, and is also one of the colours coordinating with the Suite! To decorate; the Party Animal Designer Series Paper (142738) was cut and mounted on Emerald Envy cardstock to tie in the colours of the DSP and ribbon. Balloons were stamped from Balloon Adventures Stamp Set (142823) and punched out with the Balloon Bouquet Punch (140609) for quickness and the centre balloon popped up with a dimensional. I punched a hole in the top of the box on either side to tie the box together. This ribbon is fab and coordinates lovely with the suite - Ribbon Taffeta Emerald Envy (142742).

Many fun designs can be created with this suite and they can be as simple or intricate as you want to make it. Either way they will look fab and the recipient will love it!

Party Animal Suit ~ Pop-up Thinlit

Project #2 of the Party Animal Suite Showcase!

 

The main feature and function of the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlit Dies (142753), yep you guessed it, to create a pop-up card!

The best thing about this thinlit is how easy it enables you to create the pop-up insert for your card. It not only die cuts the balloon and banner out for you, it embosses the parts you need to score and fold. It basically does all the hard work for you, easy peasy lemon squeezy…well easier than that!

The same thinlit can be used to create a frame panel for the front of a card, as seen in yesterday’s post, or to make a fun shaker card (coming soon!) Then you can just get to the fun bit and decorate your die cut balloons without the fuss.

This card has to be my favorite. Once I had all the pieces die cut and had chosen which of the Party Animal Designer Series Paper (142738) too use, I stamped the balloons using Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy and Pacific Point to coordinate with the colours used in the DSP. Then used the same theme while decorating the front of the card! The colours work so well together and really pop off that Whisper White cardstock. 

That’s what fab with the suites; they coordinate so well you don’t have to sit there pondering over colours and themes. Stampin’ Up! has done it for you so all you need to do is get creating!

Party Animal Suite ~ Cards

In this showcase I will be bringing you 5 different projects made with items from the Party Animal Suite to get you inspired!

As you can see above we are starting with simple Birthday cards, in 3 different designs…Less can be more!

The Birthday theme throughout this suite is perfect for anyone, and can be adapted for any age just with a bit of creativity. A perfect basic set to have in your stash; being one of the top reasons to send a card, we all have Birthdays after all!

This suite can also fit a number of other occasions, to celebrate an achievement or to say congratulations, not just Birthdays. I recently made a very blue, newborn baby pop-up card for a work college using the Birthday Adventures Bundle (144708) and the sentiment ‘let’s celebrate’.

I have absolutely loved playing with this suite. These cards were super quick and easy to make thanks to the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlit Dies (142753) and Balloon Bouquet Punch (140609)! The fab designs of the Party Animal Designer Series Paper (142738) has done all the work for me. I just love the colours and fun animal images with their cute little party hats on - so fun!
