The fifth and final card in the series! Another simple make for mother's day.
This card came from a card sketch challenge which was put up on our demonstrators Facebook page, just as a little fun and to see what people come up with. Its a fab way to get inspiration from people with different styles.

For this card we will be using the Oh So Succulent Stamp Set (142992) along with the sale-a-bration stamp sets Delicate Details and Avant Garden. The card sketch we were given was from mftstamps.com. 

You will also need;

Very Vanilla 
* Card base (top folding) - 5 7/8 x 4
* Centre piece - 3 1/2 x 2 1/4
* Banner - 3 1/4 x 3/4 of an inch

Crumb cake cardstock - 4 1/2 x 3/4 of an inch

Bermuda Bay cardstock - 1 x 1

Ink: Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay and Old Olive

Decorative Label Punch was used on the ends of the Crumb cake banner.

Mother’s Day Card Series

Something not Pink for the forth card of the series! 

I know it is a very simple card but I actually like the clean and simple look of it. Super fun to make, many of the women in my family are not massive lovers of the colour Pink so I wanted to use a colour that could suit anyone. 

For this card we will be using the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set (140675) and the sentiment from the Oh So Succulent Stamp Set (142992).

You will also need;

Thick Whisper White - top folding card size 5 7/8 x 4

Crushed Curry cardstock - 2 7/8 x 4 1/8

Whipser White cardstock – 2 5/8 x 3 3/4

Ink: Crushed Curry and Basic Grey

We are on to the third card of the series, an adorable little tea cup card! I am a Tea-a-holic and just love cards and stamps that have anything to do with Teacups, so when I saw this PDF on Pinterest I just had to use it!

For this card we will be using the lovely Oh So Succulent Stamp Set (142992) and Delicate Details Stamp Set (143314).

Sweet Sugarplum cardstock

Whipser White cardstock

Old Olive Bakers Twine

Ink: Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Sweet Sugarplum

Cookie Cutter Punch

I absolutely love how this card turned out and I am defiantly going to have a play around with different designs. The Delicate Details stamp set was perfect for adding that fine detail to the top of the card and you can use any flower stamp set and dies to decorate. A simple yet elegant card for Mother’s Day! 
I just love how cute it is!

Mother's Day Card Series - Card #2

Mother’s Day Card Series

Today I have the second card in my ‘Makes for Mum’ Mother’s Day card series, using the popular Oh So Succulent Stamp Set (142992). Apologies for a few jumps in the video, it was probably not the best day to film. One of those days as soon as you hit record there are a ton of interruptions…but finally managed to get a video done! :D

For this project you will also need;

Thick Whisper White: 6 x 6

Crumb Cake cardstock

Whipser White cardstock

Ink: Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Sweet Sugarplum

Sale-a-bration Metallic Ribbon

I love how versatile wreaths can be; they literally can be adapted for any occasion. The main star of this card is the beautiful ‘Oh So Succulent’ stamp set – which I just love!

Using a basic masking technique you can really add layers to the wreath without actually adding layers – if you get my drift. I also used ‘two step stamping’ giving shading and depth to the images. 

This stamp set allows more design options for you to craft with, giving you an outline image which you can use to colour in, or to make the most out of a single coloured ink pad with two step stamping (as seen in the video).
