Mother’s Day Card Series

The fifth and final card in the series! Another simple make for mother's day.
This card came from a card sketch challenge which was put up on our demonstrators Facebook page, just as a little fun and to see what people come up with. Its a fab way to get inspiration from people with different styles.

For this card we will be using the Oh So Succulent Stamp Set (142992) along with the sale-a-bration stamp sets Delicate Details and Avant Garden. The card sketch we were given was from mftstamps.com. 

You will also need;

Very Vanilla 
* Card base (top folding) - 5 7/8 x 4
* Centre piece - 3 1/2 x 2 1/4
* Banner - 3 1/4 x 3/4 of an inch

Crumb cake cardstock - 4 1/2 x 3/4 of an inch

Bermuda Bay cardstock - 1 x 1

Ink: Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay and Old Olive

Decorative Label Punch was used on the ends of the Crumb cake banner.

Mother’s Day Card Series

Something not Pink for the forth card of the series! 

I know it is a very simple card but I actually like the clean and simple look of it. Super fun to make, many of the women in my family are not massive lovers of the colour Pink so I wanted to use a colour that could suit anyone. 

For this card we will be using the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set (140675) and the sentiment from the Oh So Succulent Stamp Set (142992).

You will also need;

Thick Whisper White - top folding card size 5 7/8 x 4

Crushed Curry cardstock - 2 7/8 x 4 1/8

Whipser White cardstock – 2 5/8 x 3 3/4

Ink: Crushed Curry and Basic Grey

Mother’s Day Card Series

 

The first card in my ‘Makes for Mum’ Mother’s Day card series, showcasing the Sale-a-bration Avant Garden Stamp Set (143272). You will also need;

Thick Whisper White for Card base: 8 1/4 x 6 7/8

Flirty Flamingo cardstock: 3 3/4 x 5 1/2

Whipser White cardstock: 3 6/8 x 5 1/4

Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive and Basic Grey.

Jar from ‘Jar of Haunts’ or ‘Jar of Love’ Stamp Sets

This card is a simple card perfect for beginners using minimal supplies. I used a basic masking technique to help give depth to the image and I love how it turned out.

You could add embellishments and Wink of Stella to really glam up the card, and adding different shades of flowers would make them pop! Also cutting out the jar and/or flowers and popping them up on dimensionals could really change the look of the card. All these ‘extras’ help alter the card if you are looking for something a little more advanced.

Avant-Garden Showcase!

 

Showcasing the Sale-a-bration Avant Garden Stamp Set (143272) with colorful ‘Thank You’ cards.

Using simple layering techniques and a minimal number of colorful inks, I have created some lovely and cheerful ‘Thank You’ cards, which I hope anyone would love to receive (more below). These were so much fun to make and took no time at all, which would make them ideal for creating a large number of them in batches. I am totally addicted and in love with this stamp set, and to top it all off it was free! Yes that is right...FREE!
